Edwin Lin was born in Singapore but grew up in San Jose, a CCIC native spending his youth years at South Valley. He became a Christian in high school and pursued his faith in college at CRU (then called Campus Crusade).

Now Edwin is a Lecturer in the Sociology Department at UC Berkeley, as well as a debate coach at The King’s Academy. He’s also a graduate of Western Seminary, where he got his Masters in Bible and Exegesis. He’s been a speaker at discipleship conferences, retreats, and family camps.

Edwin has been married to Elanor Lin, Cupertino's youth minister for fourteen years, and they have two children: Asher and Juniper whom you will see running around camp trying to play games with anyone who they can rope in.

In his free time, you can find Edwin playing volleyball or Diablo, or casting Hearthstone matches in his community league.
